The PAG acts as a critical friend to the school advising the headteacher on the parents view of the school and its progress. It also receives and comments on school data and financial information. PAG members have taken part in presentations to OFSTED and in the recruitment process for new teachers.

In a meeting on the 7th February 2013, for instance, the PAG was given a briefing on the school’s Raise on Line ( a statistical survey of the school’s progress 2011/12) and was also asked to comment on the school uniform and amendments to the policy.

Members sign an undertaking that they are representing the parent body and not issues relating specifically to their children and they make a brilliant contribution to UVHS. New members are always welcome and if you wish to join the PAG please contact Michelle Dacre at school.
